It reminds me of a story my aunt told me recently. My grandad was a chatter box.....I know I know....it runs in the family. ANYWAY. When he was out and about on his horse and cart ,if he nodded off, probably after a few wee whiskeys, the horse would stop with the people along the road that grandad would normally have a yarn with. He would wake up have his chat and the horse would trot on.
