Good engineering, but what speed will the trains run at ?

A lot faster than the cars and busses on the surface!!

But, how much faster ? what will be the actual speed of this train !

You could have used a search engine to find the answer;

"In central London, trains cannot drive faster than 30-40mph because of the short distances between stations. The Victoria line can reach speeds of up to 50mph because the stations are further apart. The Metropolitan line has the fastest train speeds, sometimes reaching over 60mph.9 Jan 2013"

The new trains are even faster;

"Crossrail has stated that the new trains will be based on existing designs to minimise costs associated with development. They will run at up to 140 km/h (90 mph) on certain parts of the route."

As for surface traffic;

"In 2012, the average speed on London's roads was 19.33 miles per hour, dropping to 8.98 in the streets of Central London. This year (2016), according to Transport for London, London cars are driving at an average of just 16.5 miles per hour, falling to 7.4 miles per hour in the city core"

Thus, the train has always been quicker than the car.
