We have a Chromecast dongle which is connected to an lg smart tv, can it get most uk tv programmes without using filmon.
Working from memory here so could be wrong but I believe that a Chromecast, casts from a tablet/ phone to your TV. Do whatever you have on your tablet can be viewed on your TV.
There are a few sources of no flmon UK tv. One is Mobdro app on android systems and tablets. The rest are through Kodi.
When last I set up a Chromecast, I found it a bit tricky but this was over a year ago and things could have moved on.
Better off, I think with an android box or firestick used as a dedicated TV providing device.
