The plaster shop recommended by Rtis has an enormous range of coving and other plaster decorations and all the appropriate adhesives. It's all superb quality and very cheap compared with UK prices. The owner is a professional plasterer and very helpful. Although I'm a complete novice, following his instructions, I found it very easy to fix the coving on unpainted ceilings.

I don't think you'll find any polystyrene coving in his shop! I suspect that polystyrene coving would anyway be a lot more expensive!
