The best option is one of the larger garden centres in the area. There is Alfonso, opposite the industrial estate off junction 534 of the A7. Or Hortiflora, similar area on the Cuevas de Almanzora road, opposite the cemetary. Both are very large.

As above I would try Alfonso in Vera ( I bought a number of good looking reasonably priced citrus trees there last week).  To the side of their main stock area is another "tent" which used to have loads of small olive trees in so their might be loads of Almond saplings as well. However, unlike olives you can grow almond trees from almonds (we have a few self planted trees).  If you want to DIY the advice is to soak nuts over night then crack the nut and slightly open the crack then place them on a container of moist soil.  However, this process can take a while.

There is a new place that specialises in young almond tree on the Taberno to Huercal Overa road its on the left a little way past the Santopetar crossroads.  Friends have bought from him and have been pleased with the trees.  I think he gives a discount if you want more than 6.  Hope this helps K
