Title: Power of attorney

I have been asked by a friend to try & find out if there is a time limit on a power of attorney given to an abogado years ago, has anyone any advice for him

Might be best to ask the lawyer! A lot of PoA is "enduring" until specifically withdrawn. Bit of information here, from the best solicitor around:

Thank you Karen, will tell him to visit a solicitor, sounds to me it needs a visit to the notary to get it withdrawn.

Hi

The POA will state if it was issued for a limited time or was enduring or for a specific task - if you email me a copy I will confirm what it says. No charge for me to check !!
If enduring, and no longer "viable", it would need to be cancelled via Notary - Notary charge for this is approx. €40 / 50

Thank you Amanda but I don't think he was given a copy of the visit, will have to check with him & if he has will send it to you, thank you once again for your help.
