We are slowly working forward with our house purchase, our solicitor has power of attorney to sign/purchase property.
We have sent all funds plus taxes and fees to her client account,3 days ago she has acknowledged receipt.
I need to give our removers (furniture in container with them) 3 weeks notice. We arrive in Albox on 8th Feb with car and dogs and need to ensure access to property. Is it possible to complete in this time scale. In uk you do not pay over all funds until the day you get the keys

If all funds are in place and you have NIE numbers, completion via Notary can be arranged within a couple of days - payments are made on the day that Title Deeds are signed at the Notaries and at this time, full vacant ownership is confirmed along with handing over of keys......

You should facture in time by taking a short term rental to go to when you first arrive. It is not like the UK all sorts of problems can delay your notary appointment. We had a new build but had to wait over a month before we moved in luckily we rented a friend's flat for that time. Good luck.
Our neighbours sold two weeks before Christmas and new people moved in last Friday..and that was with new people giving old neighbours an extra two days to get sorted...
Thanks to all who replied, we seemed to be on track and estate agent has confirmed this and is even ordering us some logs, can't see uk agents doing that
