Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002
I have looked on line but to no avail. I uninstalled and re installed windows live and also restored my computer to the previous day when it worked. This has happened before but uninstalling sorted it.

just checked on google and searched for Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002 and there a literally hundreds of threads.....
had a very quick look for you and i think the general concensus is that its a back end issue with hotmailnot your machine, some users have disbaled and reinstalled like you have already done and its resolved the issue..maybe try this again in 24 hrs...
As an interim if you need to check your mail or send any forget windows live just go direct to the web based www.hotmail.com and access your account from there

Our friend had a similar problem last year, this it what we done to resoleve the issue:
Deleted the account on Windows Live. Re-added and worked OK - server link is http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx
