Title: Any Jeff Beck fans out there ?
Post by: crawdaddy on April 17, 2014, 20:45:33 PM
I've been a fan since the '60's but only seen him play live 4 times, but he is the ultimate guitar player (in my opinion), who can play anything.

Just uses his fingers on his guitar and no pedals ,and makes it all look so easy, but really concentrates on his playing.
Gonna be  3rd row stalls by the stage at Royal Albert Hall May 14th ,and really looking forward to it.

After this current tour of about half the world,he's gonna be half of a double headliner with ZZ Top for a 5 week tour in U.S.A.

Last year the same thing with Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys

Always has great musicians in his band, as mainly instumentals, apart from guest artists like Imelda May ,Joss Stone and Andrea Corr who aren't too bad at singing.
You won't get a better bass solo than this one from Tal Wilkenfeld.

Great album with Ronnie Wood on bass and Micky Waller on drums and Mickie Most producer.

Had the pleasure of meeting Micky Waller at Art Wood tribute gig at small hall in Twickenham when Ronnie Wood turned up to do the finale, just a few years ago now.
Great Sunday afto/evening of music in memory of Art Wood who just lived down the road.

Sadly Micky Waller and Mickie Most now departed this life.

In rock 'n roll heaven now.     :drinks:

Never get tired of watching this DVD which is great for rockabilly fans as well as rock 'n roll.

Tribute gig to Les Paul on what would have been his 95th birthday.

What a great treat for the audience at Ronnie Scotts in Soho, when this happened before the main gig.
