Title: Sliding Windows
Post by: diverdan on June 18, 2014, 13:30:59 PM
Hi

My sliding standard new build windows in the bedroom - the bar - lock coming out from the edge of the window moves and does not secure on to the catch to keep the window closed.

Can anyone tell me if the locking bar is secured by a screw from the window opening slide?

Thanks - reading this back I will be surprised if I get any answers because to me the request is as clear as mud!!! LOL

Thanks any idea where I could buy some of these allen screws as this one seems to be missing.

Any ferreteria or Chinese todo shop sell them, they come in a bunch with all different sizes, just a matter of finding the right one. The bar which it locks onto is also slid up and down by using an allen key, usually a slightly smaller one.
