Yes, we went last year while staying at the Puerto de Mazarron.

It's the Batereria,(Big guns) well worth a visit.A small road winding through the mountains.The turn off is not far south of Mazzaron.
It is signposted.Wear comfortable shoes,and take a rucksack with drinks and a snack! Huge guns at the end,and fabulous sea/coast views.

The voting for the summer section of The Walk for Life calendar 2019 photo competition is complete.  35 photographs have been narrowed down to 6 which will go through to the final selection next year.

(Alan Gandy was unavailable and was replaced by Trudy) Trudy is Head Judge and in "Strictly" fashion will have the deciding vote in the event of a tie.

These are the winning photographs in no particular order.  Congratulations to the winners, sorry no names at this stage, the judges will not know the identity of the photographers until after the final selection.







The Autumn competition has begun.  You can upload your photos at www.walk4lifearboleas.com where there is a link on the front page or email to judi@walk4lifearboleas.com.  Photos should represent the region and be landscape (wider than they are tall) at a minimum 300dpi A4. and not exceed 10megabytes.
