Business as normal even on bank holidays

Just came back from lidl Albox & they are open normal hours
I think times are changing as a few years ago except bars& restaurants by law everything had to close

I went to the market last Tuesday and asked if the market was going to take place another day because of Tuesday falling on the 15th, but I was told it would take place as usual on Tuesday.  Perhaps there will be a few less stalls, but the stalls I am normally using have said they were coming.
