Yes and in the Scotland game against Japan  a Japanese had her arm outstretched and stopped the ball and no Penalty given when it was a stone waller .
Have to agree with Dunedin a lot of poor refereeing look at the tackle on the England player in their last game towards the end of the game. the Columbian had no intention of playing the ball a push on the shoulder and Boot onto the ankle of the \England player. The referee looked at VAR and only issued a yellow card ?????????

I think this year in the Premier league there will be a number of surprise results due to VAR  we will all need to remember that when making our Predictions ::) ::) for Predict A Score :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

IMO there has been a fair amount of bad or controversial refereeing throughout this tournament. Last night a player hits the ball at point blank range to another player and hits her on the upper arm which was by her side and they get a penalty.
