Check in your box´s menu if it updates need to be set to automatic, it can be on manual and then you can do it yourself. My Humax is like this.

What updates are you expecting to get.?

Freesat boxes do not have many software updates made to them...and if they do they usually perform them by them selves when updates are made available.

And any channel changes are done automatically during housekeeping during the early hours.

Freeview in the UK is the same, updates when manufatirers issue them, and updates tif and when channels move numbers frequencies etc...

I have a freesat box in Spain, I also have freeview on my TV in UK. I receive regular updates on my freeview TV but never any updates on my freesat box. Does anyone know if I should get updates on my freesat box and how I should go about it? Thanks
