Washing machine repair

Hi,
Can anybody recommend a washing machine repair person?
Mine has will not turn on, have checked all normal stuff, but it still won't work!
Have benn to the place where we bought it, they took all details said a repair man would call and come out either Friday or today and nothing..
Getting desperate as washing is piling up...
