A bit of nostalgia ....... for me at least :)

A bit of light relief from the "Daily Whinge" over there on the other side (they do like a good moan over there eh :lol: )

One of the first bands I saw live was a band called Stray. They were playing the "Saturday Morning Pictures" set, the album of which was released in 1972 so it shows you how long ago it was :D

Here's a track off the album and although it's all a bit dated now some of this stuff was the first music I learned to play (along with Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant, Genesis, Family, Free et al  :clap:)

You could get right to the stage in those days and I remember looking up at these god-like musicians thinking how much I wanted to be like them and from that day to this have wanted a "Ricky" bass as played by Gary Giles and a Gibson Firebird as played by Del Bromham (who, I believe, is still doing it to this day with "Del Bromham's Stray")
