I  think ITV  every 6 months

book on line for Albox

cost approx 50e

takes 20 mins

befor you go,change oil, deisel, air filters,if it has a cam belt get it checked, because they rev the tits of them to test the deisel emissions.

tryre makes must match per axle with all four tyres within speq of the green tecnico sheet

tow bar must also be registered to the vechkle ie make sure no body as just stuck a tow bar on it..... also make sure the tow bar electrics work.

also clean the headlamps,if there road grimmed up it will fail.

your main bit with this old stuff is emmissions and ball joints, also check cv rubbers, hand brake, damp shocks, power steering leaks, steering rack rubbers.
Analogue mechanically  trained 1970,s Fitter  dear living  in a gone digital/tecno mad O Dearie me world......thankfully left behind with it all ,enjoying the bliss of NO phones ,  apps and  shortage of the intellectual, wile still managing to hone underachievement on the day to day in the sun  lol
