Felipe,

Agree with you on Wolverhampton and Luton.
I was born in Luton, and on the rare occasions I go there, it is unrecognisable as the town I knew. My uncle and a cousin still live there and I can't put on here what they say about the deterioration of their hometown !

Angleseyite,

Spot on, we should all enjoy what we have, while we still can. I admit to missing the warmer Spanish winter climate and traditional tapas bars.  :72:
We're planning a trip to Lanzarite/Tenerife in January, for some warm winter sunshine.  :72:

I'm content with my life and Burton on Trent is nowhere near as bad as Roger and lorrydriver say. That's a compliment to the area, coming from a Londoner/Southerner.  :72:

S
That's my point Liz, we should all be grateful and enjoy the life style we have, most on here are in their twilight yrs and life's too short, so enjoy what you have, although its obviously much better living in Spain, with the odd trip back to the UK. :57:

This is the fing Liz, of everyone knockin the UK most, don't live there. Most have up sticks and moved to Spain, where they knock that too :72:
We're blessed Liz, we can have the best of both worlds, when we want it :72:
I like Spain and England, both have their good and bad points, the weather in both cases. :08:

Jams i luv Yorkshir as well,do yer know when we get out WFA in  .... is it next week ?    :103:

I got back last night after spending a week in Wolverhampton. Could not wait to get home. It is great if you want to live in a rat race, sit for hours in traffic and pay over the odds four a beer. Nearly four hours from Luton to Wolverhampton, over an hour from there to Tean a distance of 24 miles. £7 for two pints in a pub. Return journey to Luton was nearly as bad. Looking at food prices in morrisons most things more expensive except the food that is classed as comfort food and unhealthy, that was cheap.

Oddly weren't the figures revised because due to Brexit it will take between 2 and 3 years longer to reach this milestone!
Half truths and omissions guys.
Another thing is if you look at where these folk will live......Scotland no, N Ireland no, Wales, not really. When you think about it all the pressure on services remains in England where H M Gov deigns to spend less than the devolved regions.
You would think then that Wales NHS would be far better than England, but it's worse. Scotland should be hitting every target, but it's not. Crikey those Welsh and Scottish socialists can really get those services working great. For all the pedants out there the SNP and Labour are so similar in ethos it's hard to tell them apart.

I would expect that those who voted to control immigration will wonder what happened to that.
