Hello all,
It is with great sadness and regret that I have to inform you that David Shear, founder of Albox Computer Club and PIRdA, passed away early this morning at Huercal Overa hospital.

As many of you may already know David had been ill for some time. At just after 8am this morning David passed away in his sleep. His wife Margaret was with him.

Our sincere condolences go out to Margaret, his family and many friends he has left behind and who will miss him dearly. He was a good man and lived his life doing good deeds. David was never more happy than when he was helping others.

The legacy David has left behind in both Albox Computer Club and PIRdA will continue through the dedicated efforts and loyalty of its's members and supporters. PIRda have now found a new workshop which is currently being fitted out. We have now come home to Albox. As as result our name has reverted back to: Proyecto Informatica Reciclado de Albox" as it was prior to moving to Arboleas. We are therefore, still PIRdA.

Until the new workshop is up and running, if you have any donations you wish to make, we would ask you to hold on to them for another week or so yet please. Our new address will be:

Calle Ramon y Cajal 32 Albox 04800 in the building marked "El Saliente"

Coming from la plaza nueva (the donkey square) turn into Avenida Pio XII (where the banks are) from there turn right (at the red Blanes sign) into Calle Ramon y Cajal. We are located at number 32 on the right, by the big blue disabled parking spaces about a block passed the employment office.

If you have any problems finding us please email Christine on: pirdachris@gmail.com

Rest in peace David we will miss you.
Kind regards,
The PIRdA team
