Age Support event at Maloans - cancelled, apologies

Nothing at all mentioned on Maloans Facebook page an Age Supports page gives no information other than its been cancelled , no reason given why it was cancelled or if they plan to hold it somewhere else at a later date .

So sorry, just heard that this event is cancelled, our apologies but with few ticket sales what can we do when entertainers etc are involved? Venue had to make the decision now, it's very difficult to plan an event when people leave ticket buying so late or just turn up on the night - makes organising an event so difficult, apologies to all the stall holders and the singers and DJ and anyone who was thinking about coming. It is possible there was not enough lead-in time advertising the event. We hope to reschedule of course as the charity needs funds to help older people in the area with mobility equipment, advice and support. Do please support our shop near the Peugeot garage in Albox. Age Support will be holding a fundraising event at Maloans (near the new roundabout!) in Albox.

Saturday 30th June from 5pm.    Tickets €5 from Maloans and the Age Support shop near the Peugeot garage.

Stalls and a raffle from 5pm, music starts at 7pm with Kay Francis, Emma Wild and DJ Mad Mark - plenty of opportunity to dance then! Food available.

Donations of raffle prizes gratefully received at the Age Support shop.
