Yes the music was great, and the changing out of the mermaid outfit was super quick, well done to all the singers had a great time. Hope you made a grand total, and with the wine rack going for a bit as well, nice bit of kit that was.

Thankyou to all who came along to the Age Support Family Fun Day at Kubatin, wow what a crowd! The event raised €1,463.10 and, with earlier run-up events and the raffle the final total is an amazing €2,230.10.

This means we have reached our target to buy another, much-requested hospital-style bed to loan to the elderly clients in Almanzora who are bed-ridden. Thankyou to all who came along - rest-assured the money will go to this good cause.

Thankyou to all the many volunteers and stall holders, to Smooth FM for hosting the event and to all the local businesses who donated prizes. The crowd was entertained by Carrie's Dusty Boots and Anne Campbell and her dancers and the singers Elizabeth Regan, Melanie Howard-Coles, Emma Wild and Geoff Murrell.
