Saturday 4th May is the Day

[Walk4Life]

Less than two weeks to go to the big event of the year in Arboleas, the annual Walk for life.  It isn’t just a walk it is an afternoon and evening packed with entertainment.

The fun starts at 3.30pm when the Craft Fayre opens, and you can register for the walk and collecting your number.  If you register and complete the course, you will get a medal.  There is a â,¬2 registration fee, but registration is free to under 16s.

The Dog show, organised by Christine Axelsen, will be at 4.15, registration 3.30.  In the afternoon music is provided by Fusion and Marilyn Shipley.
The walk starts at 6pm.  There are 3k & 6k routes for walkers and runners.  They will be well signposted; Marshalls will be there to help, and water will be provided at various stations along the way.

The bar opens at 3.30 and food will available to purchase from 6pm and throughout the evening. The Party in the Plaza starts at 7.45 with entertainment by Debbie Davis Dance, Kay Francis and Emma Wild.  All our tables are now reserved but you can bring your own, bring a chair or sit on the steps, there will be plenty of room.

Although it is the best fun day of the year it is all about helping people with cancer in your area, so we do need your money.  If you are walking please get sponsors. If you can’t walk, then please sponsor someone who can.
