Shocking refereeing again in the Germany game against Nigeria. Offside German goal and German handball.

A real shame for Scotland, deserved more, also Japan against England, the English rode their luck last night, but hey that's footy for you!!!

Scotland victims of VAR again a penalty in stoppage Goalkeeper saves  and saves the follow up but Var orders a retake as she had both feet off the line.
Scotland were joint top scorers with England with 5 goals but dubious decisions against England and Japan cost them the chance of draws in these games which would have seen them through to next stage.
The other factor was Scotland Goalkeeper can't remember if it was the England or Japan game she lost a goal from distance that she should have saved and although not seeing it last night The second goal against was a shot from distance  according to commentators she should have been able to save .
Having been 3-0 up they should have coasted through last night but hey this is Scotland we are talking about ::)

England Ladies 1 up after 15 minutes. England goalkeeper Karen Beardsley made a cracking save from a free kick. The Japanese are playing a fast game. England lucky to be winning, but now score again with just 5 minutes to go. 2-0

Scotland Ladies winning by 3 goals to 2.😊

What do you reckon Bill, will your ladies survive tonight,? I think they will. The English ladies only need a draw to go through.

Yes they are getting the rough end of VAR and same against England a tough decision with VAR  gave England a penalty, so assuming they scored the penalties they would have had 2 draws against teams that are 3rd and 7th in the world.

In my opinion they got a raw deal today. Whilst Japan was the better side and the first goal was good, a dive by a Japanese girl in the goalmouth was obvious as she was not touched. That was followed by a hand ball by a Japanese forward that was also disallowed.
