Never heard of musicians writing and recording their owm material in this area. This track sounds excellent, vocals and harmonies, brill. Where can you be seen. Where is the studio in this area. Where does this happen. Sorry for the questions, but as a musician this is cool to hear.

there are a few local folks write and play there own stuff with a mix of covers, its very difficult to do a full 2 1/2 hours with own stuff tho unless your OASIS  as folks will ask you for songs they know.....which sort of deflates the job a bit ....to say the least.

I have been writing & recording since the days of the wondrous 4 track cassette :))
The studio is a little home recording setup at my house. I was doing my own stuff ( www.reverbnation.com/owdoggy ) but missed the interaction of a band, was lucky enough to find three very talented guys with the same outlook and Prog was born.

We won't be gigging until we have enough material so I wouldn't hold your breath 8)

I reckoned I had one more band left in me but I wanted to get a band together to write, record then gig an album so I found some like minded musicians and we formed a band called "Prog"
We know it won't make us rich and we'll probably be playing to one man and his dog when we finally start gigging (that's if we're not dead ....... none of us are spring chickens  ) and will probably go down like a lead balloon here in "covers land" but like me they just love creating the music.

Here's the first track from Prog off the album "Spawn" (Prog Spawn.....geddit? ..... subtle huh? )
