microsoft edge suddenly in Spanish

don't know how but I've suddenly found the english version and it's stayed on screen thanks JP

thanks JP but do I have to do that every time as it goes back to Spanish when I log out?

Open a new tab.
Click on the cogwheel seen in the top right corner of the open new tab page (not "..." on the upper tab bar).
Click "Advanced" (or "Advanzado" if it's in Spanish) and choose "English (United Kingdom)".
All done, hopefully.

there was a recent update would that have changed it to spanish?  still can't get it in english

i have done this and it shows as english in the settings but still comes up in spanish even though i do not have spanish as an option so what do i do now?
