If you have it paid direct into a "Caja" they dn't charge any commission if it is a pension.  They may if you transfer it later

Dont think it makes a lot of difference, if you have it paid into an account in Spain, the exchange rate at that time will apply. If it is into a UK account you can choose when to transfer and maybe get a better rate

Hi, Iam just about to hit the big 65 at the end of this monthand would welcome any thoughts on how best to have this paid in the present economic climate. Whether to have it paid into a UK bank and transfer later, or paid into my spanish account or even to open a dedicated account here just for the pension.Or perhaps someone has another idea. Thanks in anticipation, Colin.
