I'd hazard a guess at, flying ants, emerging from their nest.

Hola all,

I hope someone can help us..... about 4 weeks ago we noticed a small pile of soil around the base of a cactus in our ´Cactus Garden´. The area has membrane over the soil and is gravelled. I took the photos below this morning, so what on earth is doing this? Now really bad around the first plant and spreading to a second.....
