Fruit set

We have a poor set on the apricot and plum this year.  

There were loads of flowers, and I went out with a soft brush and did an imitation of a bee.

The damson and the gooseberry seem to have a normal set, but their flowers were just a touch later.

Was it the weather?  Has anyone else had a similar problem?
