MOUNTAIN OAKS WATER SUPPLY

The Town Council has been working to get water contracts for everyone who needs them.
We are arranging an agreement between ourselves, Galasa and the various builders to pay for the connection fees, although we are experiencing some delay from Galasa.

A particular holdup is the problem is obtaining the documents from some house owners.
Lack of an NIE, or possession of unofficial and therefore unacceptable NIE certificates issued in Torrevieja.
Water boletins given to the previous administration which cannot be found.
A major problem is that some house owners live in the UK and are slow at providing documents or are failing to respond to e mails.

The issue is now serious for Mountain Oaks clients because Antonio Sola has been instructed by Galasa to discontinue temporary water supply by 13th December.
We are working hard to ensure that house owners are not left without water, BUT we cannot delay getting contracts for the many permanent residents because we cannot get the documents from some non residents,

If this affects you, particularly if you live in the UK and you have not supplied us with the necessary documents, you must do so very urgently or risk having no water supply.
