I think it could have been a parasol...  We´ve had two useless ones from the Chinese shops, but got one in Lidl a couple of weeks ago which is much better.

Umbrellas!  It hardly ever rains here.  Brico Fermin in Lorca (on the old main road next to the Peugeot dealership) usually have a good ramge in stock.

Jumacer have some and quite reasonably priced,go right through to the back of the shop and they have 2 types errected so you cansee for yourself hope this helps.

Does anyone know the best place to buy a fairly sturdy garden umbrella. Thanks in anticipation.
