Chimney cleaning

Almost certain they should be done yearly, the chimenea place on the industrial estate just through albox does them.

We have a free standing log burner.  I know the chimneys don't get as furred up with soot as coal fires but does anyone know how often they should be cleaned? and is there someone in the area who does that?
