Electronic water softener's

We had one installed when we first came here 5 years ago. It can be noisy when it back flushes, but I think that is about the only draw-back, and it's only once a week. We are the only people in the street not to have had to have a new boiler and my washing machine is spotless - we are glad we had it.

Hi there,
Does anyone have any experience of this type of softener? Do their work, are there any other issues with them, are they better than conventional equipment.
Any feed back much appreciated
