Second DaveL, take to Epsa, normally done in a couple of days, three friends have had same as you and all repaired with no problems..good as new..

You could take it to the Epsa agent at the end of the block opposite the BP garage in Albox. They do motor rewinds and other repairs to Epsa pumps, but unless you ask you will not know. My Epsa pump was rewound, and refurbished for 90€, less than half the cost of a new one last year.

Does anyone know where I can buy a new or reconditioned Astral Victoria Pool Pump? This is the big (55mm Internal Diameter inlet and outlet couplings) for my 10m x 4m pool.
I think that the motor has burnt out and the pump bearing and seal has definately gone.
I am not asking for recommendations, just personal experiences. Thank You
