engine steam cleaning

Thanks all,its to clean the engine after an oil hose came off...its a Diesel so electrics not much of a problem.

soluble oil, brush it in and just wash away

Engine cleaner@autorecabios Albox or Liddl,s sometimes have it, car wash is a pressure washer not steam cleaner, carefull near electronics.

I don't know about WD40, I always used "GUNK" then jet washed off, don't know where you can get "GUNK" here though.

I do mine at the car wash.

In UK it used to be done by spraying on WD40 or the like, leave it for a few minutes and then jetwash off so could be done at a car wash, always satisfied the examiners when I had to take my taxi for its annual test.
