Looked at their website ,launch offer is £399.00 return for standard car 2 passengers and a cabin.

I check.ed a booking just to see and you have to add on the cost of an outside cabin to the 399 euros

Hi Nibbler

I received an email from Ferrysavers.  As far as I am concerned it can only be good news as it will stop Brittany Ferries having the monopoly of ferries to and from England.  Of course, we will have to see what LD standard of comfort, time-tables, etc... are going to be.

About time some competition. It cost me £1200 return in the summer Ports to San

It will be really interesting to see the price. LD seem to under sell all the companies in France. Can you tell me where you found the info please.

LD lines are starting a service from Santander to Poole as from 5th November.  This should provide some competition for Britanny Ferries and with a bit of luck cheaper prices.
