Albox on line speed has just increased from 0.5 Mbps to just over 2.0 Mbps, but we still cannot watch FilmOn.

Same as us djc - Filmon fine in the day - then unwatchable after 8pm ( Albox online) we have only got the cheapest package from them though - perhaps upping the Mbps might help - but would cost more - they would have to guarantee no buffering if we did though !! :vomit:

We have 6mb from Albox online.
Filmon started buffering at 4pm last 2 days.
Same thing with friends.
Unwatchable - so at present - why bother upgrading mate?

Guitarman what area are you, for all we know you could be in the uk.

We are with Telefonica for our internet and have 10 Mb -
no problem with Film on.

Thanks for getting back Karen, it would be helpful if people give us an idea what areas are getting good or poor signals, here in piedra it is up and down. Peak times 7pm onwards recently it is below 1.

hi we are with Next and last night could not connect to filmon after 7.30 pm but all ok this morning. Doesn't. bode well for watching TV through the Internet whether you watch via pc, tablet or Android box.Might just have to bite the bullet and get a bigger dish. ps. we get 6 megs and we could get YouTube etc no,probs just not filmon.:'(

Karen4, what area are you in?, because I am led to believe that eurosatwiz uses the same source as albox on line.

Spoke to Albox-online this morning about internet conection and being unable to watch tv last night.  They said it is to do with the amount of traffic on the internet between 8 and 11 at night.  I asked if we would be able to watch uninterupted tv tonight and was told very unlikely.  For me then to ask how soon will this be sorted and was told they don't really know and as soon as they do know they will let us all know.  Not much help really in my opinion.

And you know that internet speeds will drop as a fact?

Also that the 1.8 dishes will continue to receive signals or will a bigger dish be required?

eurosatwiz

As predicted and reported over a year ago most of the terrestrial free to view channels have now moved to the new satellite and the signal is much weaker
Also the new 1.8m famaval dishes are receiving these channels and are performing well
We are also going to see a huge change to the Internet services allover Spain
As the number of android box users increase the speeds will drop
And at times in certain areas will be not usable
