Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling iplayer?
The app could have got corrupted.

I have been downloading programmes from BBC iPlayer for a few months now using VPN 1Click. However, since yesterday nothing will download. I can watch catch up programmes directly from the iPlayer website but nothing will download to be watched later. Any ideas how this can be resolved?
