Download Apples own program iTunes and it will recognize the iPOD then you can move Music , Video and Photo files to it simply , it supports both XP and the Touch .

I think you'll find you need to install some software on the PC.  iTunes or some other third-party thing (such as this http://www.syncios.com/ipod-transfer-software-reviews.html ).

I have a computer that still uses XP, and I want to download my mp3's to a second hand i-pod touch I've bought, but when I connect the i-pod USB to the computer, the XP wizard says it is an i-pod camera, so I cannot download anything, any help would be appreciated. (I have the latest edition of windows media player on the P.C.)
