Just watching the big clouds building up, I'm hoping you might be right about the thunder johnhc....looking good for it now! Clarky, I am learning to develop a healthy interest in the weather as much as the English and the Irish, I have to remind myself every day when talking to people to make at least one comment about it or my day seems wasted!

Karen...Coming from a County Wexford family and spending many years
in Eire.  I would say the Irish spend just as much time as the English
talking about the weather.  ;)

It is not saying that on the website.... http://www.accuweather.com/en/es/almeria/306726/weather-forecast/306726
http://www.accuweather.com/en/es/almeria/306726/daily-weather-forecast/306726?day=2

The AEMET is the official government website so I would think it should be a bit more accurate. The accuweather website states thunderstorms for Portugal and western Spain, nothing yet for anything further east.
To tell you the truth, I just look out the window in the morning and up at the sky during the day and get a fairly accurate view of what the weather will be like! If it rains, it rains. If it's sunny, it's sunny. I hope that you're right and there IS thunder and lightning, I love it, very energising.
Just out of interest johnhc, are you English by any chance? I have found that the English seem to be a bit obsessed with the weather!

Forecast for tomorrow showers and thunderstorms.  Happy days - but I'll believe it when I see it.
There will be no hurricane.
