Recently some Lenovo computers (which will be mainly laptops/notebooks) have been found to have an extremely serious malware program, (called Superfish) installed by Lenovo themselves. They have eventually recognised the seriousness of the situation, and issued a program to remove it. It affects computers built from around September last year - so there may even be infected systems still on sale.

For the removal tool look here http://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/thinkvantage_en/metroapps/SuperFishRemovalTool/1.0.2.0/Lenovo.SuperFishRemovalTool.exe

You can safely run the program on any machine, so if you are even just suspicious, it would be good to download and run it.

For more details about what's been going on you can Google    superfish lenovo  and find plenty of reports about it. If you are infected, it will supply false security certificates to you system and potentially allow the theft of personal details including bank accounts, credit card numbers, and the like.
