Scooter repairs

Hi can anyone recommend a good scooter mechanic, someone who can give me an assessment of a bike that is in good condition but has been left standing a long time. looking for an honest fair assessment.If the cost of repair is going to exceed the value of the bike then obviously I won't want to get it repaired.
