Hi,

Did you ever see a woman, walking outta New York City...with a frog in her hand.

Marc Bolan.

"A well-known Bognor restaurant-owner disappeared early this morning."

From a track called "Harold the Barrel" off the "Nursery Cryme" album (1971) by Genesis ........when they were good

A-wop-bom-a-loo-mop-a-lomp-bom-bom!
What an opening line!
Apparently this was a verbal rendition of a drum pattern which Little Richard had in his head at the recording studio.
1955. Possibly the song which brought RocknRoll to the attention of the media.

And a couple of years later......You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain.
Jerry Lee Lewis, (though I think someone else wrote those lyrics). He is still touring I believe. Must be 80 odd.

If I had ever sat down to write a song I doubt whether A-wop-bom or You shake my nerves would have fallen off the tip of my pencil.
If I had to live my life over, I'd live it over a pub.

Windows was unable to locate the requested file. Would you like a glass of wine instead?
