Thankyou for your support, we raised €200 from the raffle, congratulations to all the winners who have been contacted and received their prizes. Liz 
Age Support Almanzora is fundraising for a domestic-type hospital bed to help carers with bed-ridden partners. We need €2,000. The charity's shop in Albox is running a raffle to help towards this goal. Tickets are €1 each or five for €4 and there are lovely prizes including a food hamper, fish and chips for two at Bar Lepanto, gift vouchers for SOL yoga centre and for a classic manicure or facial...etc. You can buy tickets at the Age Support shop or at Harrisons food store, Total Entertainment or Bar Lepanto - all in Avenido Lepanto in Albox. The draw will take place on Saturday 16th June, please support this appeal as the bed is a vital resource for those who are bed-bound.
You can take any prizes you would like to donate or make a cash donation to the appeal by visiting the shop or Spanish Property Choice, opposite the Mercadona, who support the charity.
The Age Support shop is just down from the Mercadona, on the roundabout opposite the Peugeot garage on the corner. Do you know that the welfare team is based in the shop now? If you need to borrow equipment such as wheelchairs or if you need help or advice - emotional and practical support for older people living in the area - do please call in the shop to see a member of the welfare team who are in their office in the shop Monday to Friday.
